    Hello all,

I was recently cleaning my motherboard (820-3476-a) from water damage using isopropyl alcohol and an antistatic brush and damaged a chip. It is completely gone - like can't even find it.

TL;DR: Please identify the grey chip missing in my attached photo (white arrow pointing to missing chip).

After hours of research, I ended up with a boardview and schematic, but the schematic is not easily understood and my .BRD file will not open in any programs that were suggested. Now, I found both of these files separately on random forums, but many people had responded an verified that the boardview file worked.

So, if somebody can please help. I can send you the schematic and .brd. I just need the chip model number to send to a friend who does micro-soldering.

    Thanks.

It is the inductor and actually a big chip for the board.

    It'spart number is
    152S1051 and detai specification is
    2.2UH-2A-0.155-OHM
You better buy a dead board that is selling on eBay (seller name etopmonica or efirst ) with $26 and use thedonor board to repair your board. If you try to find one single chip will cost you more and yo don't know what else will you need.
820-3476 and 820-3536 is the same layout except the RAM. I am wondering that you managed to get the chip off the board means you were pretty harsh whie handling the board and I hope you did not damage the rest of the board.
